I don’t need to see these kids play in person to know that they are good. They’re incredible and way better than any 9th or 10th grader I’ve seen in a long time. How could you disagree? If you disagree, then I’d like to see highlights of American kids doing what these guys are doing. Is America doing it all wrong in terms of developing our (offensive-minded) youth players?
Below is a link to a new video of some highlights of the Coquitlam Adanacs Midget A1 team. The boys are freshmen and sophomores in high school in Coquitlam, BC – a suburb of Vancouver.
The boys are in first place in their Midget A division this season with an 11-0-1 record. A lot of these boys are outstanding field lacrosse players who are already being scouted extensively by some big Division I schools south of the border.

[…] Box Lacrosse VideoPosted on July 16, 2013 by Thomas AlfordCategories: High School You probably remember this gem that I posted not too long ago. I previously stated, “They’re incredible and way better […]
I mean this is a cool video, but why would you put the kids this high light video is about being laid out? or kids getting hit in the face with the ball? I don’t know maybe its just me but really?
Great video. Lots of athletes. Of course the US is weak in box compared to the GWN. That said, lots of those boys would be spending time in the box in a US field game. Heck they’d be spending a lot of time in the box in a US box game (youth) because US refs won’t allow those types of hits. It will take years before US Box (youth) could get to that level of play– if ever. I’d take almost any CA box player as attack and d-mid on my summer travel teams. But, plan on knee-time when your here playing.

I coach some of these players in field, most notably the goalie – Christian Del Bianco, who plays goal in field as well. He is phenomenal, as a Freshman he played and lead our Junior team last fall. He’s definitely the breed of the future as both a box and field goalie.
