A 10-goal scoring burst in the second quarter spurred the No. 5 University of Maryland men’s lacrosse team to a 16-8 victory over No. 2 Syracuse in front of 5,283 at the Carrier Dome Saturday afternoon. Maryland stays in conference when it hosts 2013 NCAA champions Duke at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium on Saturday, March 1.
