Top 40 National High School Lacrosse Players to Face-Off at Maverik Showtime Lacrosse “All-Star Game” Wednesday, July 14

Danbury, CT– July 13, 2010 – Forty of the fastest rising sophomore and junior high school lacrosse players in the country will face-off at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14th at Western Connecticut State University, in Danbury CT, as part of the third annual Maverik Showtime Lacrosse – “National Recruiting Spotlight” (www.showtimelax.com). The forty players taking to the field on Wednesday night will have been selected from a pool of 160 players participating at the four day invitation only recruiting camp by coaches from top Division I, II and III programs. The Maverik Showtime Lacrosse — “National Recruiting Spotlight” is the brain child of Joe Ceglia, Mike Springer and ESPN color commentator Paul Carcaterra, who all achieved All-American and National Championship careers at Syracuse University, and are immersed in lacrosse as coaches at the high school and collegiate levels, are nationally recognized camp directors, broadcasters and are professional lacrosse players.
