WARREN, MICH., –June 13, 2014 – Warrior has signed Princeton All American and the number one player chosen in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) draft by the Ohio Machine, Tom Schreiber, to its roster of sponsored players. Effective immediately, Schreiber will wear Warrior gear on the field, while training and when relaxing off the field.
Warrior, the industry leader in Lacrosse, continues to build momentum by adding the top players in the game to its premier Players Club group. In addition to using Warrior lacrosse equipment, footwear and apparel, Schreiber will help grow the sport by conducting Warrior lacrosse clinics for players and coaches at locations throughout the country.
“Tom Schreiber has an unrivaled passion for the sport both on and off the field,” said Dave Dixon, CMO at Warrior. “Tom is a hard-nosed, pure athlete that dominates for four quarters every time he takes the field, but that’s really just the tip of the iceberg with him. Tom’s work ethic and dedication to the game are what really make the partnership with Warrior such a great fit. We are extremely excited to have Tom join the Warrior team and look forward to growing the game together.”
“After meeting with the Warrior team, it became immediately clear that we share a true passion for the sport and this was the place for me,” said Tom Schreiber. “I could see they put as much time and dedication into their game as I put into mine and that really sold me. We have already discussed some ideas to help grow the sport including a clinic tour in emerging lacrosse regions. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Warrior family and I can’t wait for the next steps in our partnership together.”

These players dedicate themselves to giving back to the sport and to the community by devoting time and resources to organizations in need.
In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. They also discuss the retirement of Matt Danowski and Brett Schmidt, provide their predictions for the protected rosters particularly with Dillon Ward, Connor Fields, Paul Rabil, Joe Walters and Kyle Harrison, and theorize what it would take for Coach Sean Quirk to trade the top pick in the PLL Entry Draft and presumably the chance to draft Lyle Thompson.
