TAMPA, Fla. – University of Tampa men’s lacrosse standout Greg Griffo has been named an honorable mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Coaching Association (USILA). He becomes the first player in program history to earn the honor. Griffo, a senior from Babylon, N.Y., recently concluded his Spartan career as the team’s leading scorer. In 16 games, he netted 28 goals and 10 assists, including a pair of game-winning goals. He registered at least one points in 14 games this season. Read More…

CORTLAND, NY — For the first time in the program’s illustrious history, the RIT (19-2) men’s lacrosse team will play for the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse national title thanks to Allister Warren (Toronto, Ontario/Malvern Collegiate Institute)’s overtime goal with 1:55 left, giving the Tigers a 10-9 win over top seeded and previously undefeated SUNY Cortland (19-1) in the semifinals on Sunday.
